"Hi Margarita, it’s been quite the journey since our first phone call way back in January of this year. At that time, there was a small and wounded boy inside that was lost and unable to know who he was and could be. And when that small boy felt unsafe, his protector parts would trigger causing relational pain and despair.

Some 4 years ago my weight was out of control, as I had retreated and stopped believing in myself. So the journey back to health started in earnest Feb-2020. The goals where thus, get my physical health back, get my mental and social well-being back and become the best version of myself that I could possibly be. The trauma on my life had been established via a thousand cuts. 

That is, it was living life without understanding the base of my triggers and why they would explode into action when I felt unsafe and threatened. I was deeply unhappy with many aspects of my ability to be mentally strong and feel content and safe. I was unable to see through the fog and haze of hurt, to the real me.

Over the course of our sessions, I learnt how to let go of those hurts and start to live a life not beyond them, but without them. I am now living a life where the real Pete knows he is enough, the real Pete has clarity, knows who he definitely is and knows when to let go, and when to say no and not accept or pickup things that are not for him to accept. Life has become more expansive and the small boy has grown very quickly into the person who he was always meant to be.
